Dragorra Ibizan Hounds

My name is Arial Harper and I have been "in" dogs for 15  years and in Ibizan Hounds for 12 years. I am currently a member of the Ibizan Hound Club of the United States and the newly formed Big Sky Sighthound Association. I am located in Billings, Montana, USA.

Dragorra Ibizans started in 1998 when “Questor” Imagery’s Dragon Quest bounded into my life.  He was just the goofiest, gangliest pup I’d ever seen and I just adored him. I named him after the bumbling wizard Questor Thews in Terry Brooks’ Magic Kingdom of Landover series and one of Anne McCaffrey’s Pern novels Dragon Quest.  I had helped to train and show friends' dogs but Questor was my very first show dog. Tragically I lost Questor to anaphylactic shock from a wasp sting not long after his 2^nd birthday. 

Not long after losing Questor a little pinto Ibizan bitch marched her way into my life. At just 9 weeks old, “Endorra” UCI Int’l, Am., Can. CH Fire Rock Bell, Book and Candle SC, RE CGC,  was already a force to be reckoned with.  I named her after one of my favorite old movies Bell, Book, and Candle  and  Samantha’s mother in the TV show Bewitched.  The name Dragorra is a combination of Questor's registered name and Endorra.
