Chickens?!!

This past May I happened to be at the local Big R store buying dogfood and they had bins of these really cute baby chicks....and four of them followed me home. They have turned out to be a lot of fun to raise and really entertaining to have around. We are looking forward to have fresh eggs!!

Introducing...Robin, Momo, Monroe and Choco. Robin and Monroe are Rhode Island (Production) Reds. Momo and Choco are Naked Necks a.k.a Turkens or Transylvanian Naked Necks.

A few days after the peeps followed me home little Norman was found wandering the parking lot at work with no mama in sight. So Norman came home too...
